Plans & licensing
The trial and the three plans - Free, Pro and Power - what each one includes, active workflows and how to set one aside, who can use Free, changing plan, refunds, devices, and what happens during a license-server outage.
Every plan lets you build and keep as many workflows and worlds as you like. What a plan sets is how many you keep active at once, your working set, and which features you get. Cerevisor has a 7-day trial and three plans: Free, Pro and Power. As of October 2026, Pro is €15 a month (€150 a year) and Power is €75 a month (€750 a year); the current prices are always on cerevisor.com/pricing.

If you already had a license that included everything, it is now called Power. Those licenses always covered everything, and they still do. There is nothing to do: update Cerevisor and the Subscription tab reads Cerevisor Power.
AI provider costs are separate: you pay your provider for the models you use, on your own key or your own subscription. Cerevisor never meters your runs. There is no per-run, per-model or per-token count on any plan, and nothing about your usage leaves your computer.
Active workflows
A workflow is active when it is part of your current working set. You can run an active workflow as often as you like, on every plan.

The counts cover your whole computer, not each world separately. On Pro, 15 active workflows can sit in one world or be spread over three.
You rarely have to think about this. When you run a workflow that is not active and your plan has room, it simply becomes active. The limit only shows when your active workflows are full and you start a new one.
Storage is never limited. Creating, importing, duplicating, branching, opening, editing, saving and exporting workflows and worlds work the same on every plan. Only starting a run of a workflow that is not active needs room.
Making room
When you run a workflow and your active workflows are full, Cerevisor opens Make room to run your workflow. It says what your plan keeps active and lists what is active now. Pick one and press Set aside and run: that workflow is set aside and yours starts straight away. When the limit you reached is the number of worlds, the dialog offers to set aside a whole world instead. When a run needs more than one place at once (for example a workflow and its Powers), the dialog offers the workflows you ran least recently together, so one press makes enough room. You can also manage this ahead of time in Settings → Subscription → Active workflows. It shows how many workflows and worlds are active, lists each active workflow with its world (or Single file), and has a Set aside button on each row.
What "set aside" means
Setting a workflow aside only takes it out of your working set. It stays saved, editable and exportable, exactly where it was. Nothing is deleted, nothing becomes read-only, and nothing is hidden.
Swapping is free, unlimited and instant. You can set a workflow aside and bring another in as often as you like; there is no waiting period and no count of swaps. A set-aside workflow becomes active again the next time you run it, as long as there is room.
Worth knowing
- A run that is already going always finishes. Setting its workflow aside, or a change of plan, only affects the next start.
- A single
.cerevisorfile counts as a workflow but takes no world. On Free, you can keep one world and a single file active together, as long as there are 2 workflows in total. - Parts of one run share its place. The later rounds of a loop and the later steps of a pipeline are part of the run that started them and take no extra room.
- A pipeline needs all of its workflows to fit at once. A pipeline of 3 different workflows cannot run on Free, and Cerevisor says so before the first step starts. When the pipeline could fit after you set something aside, set it aside in the Subscription tab and run the pipeline again.
- A workflow's Powers count together with it. A Power is a workflow too. When you run a workflow, the Powers its agents can call (and the Powers those Powers can call) need to be active along with it, all at once, before the run starts. On Free, a workflow with 1 Power fits when nothing else is active; a workflow with 2 Powers needs 3 active workflows, so Cerevisor says so before anything runs and suggests Pro or taking a Power off its agents. A Power takes no world of its own. Once the run has started, calling its Powers takes no extra room.
- A Power shared with you works on Free if it fits. Invoking a Power someone shared with you, from a workflow or from an organization chat, works on every plan. It needs a place among your active workflows like any other workflow; when there is no room, the chat says so plainly.
- Chatting with an agent card counts as running its workflow. If its workflow is not active and there is no room, the chat says so and offers to make room.
- Copies made in your file manager are the same workflow. A
.cerevisorfile copied outside Cerevisor keeps the identity of the original, so running either uses the same place. A copy made with Duplicate inside Cerevisor is a new workflow. - Runs started outside the window say so plainly. A scheduled run of a workflow that cannot become active does not start, and the schedule shows the reason. Your phone shows the same sentence.
Trial
When you install Cerevisor for the first time you get 7 days of everything, with no limits, no card and no nags. That includes the four Power features: Operator, the team conversation, the local API and Factory mode. The countdown in the title bar shows the days left.
During the trial, Settings → Subscription shows which of your workflows Free would keep active when the trial ends, and how many Pro would keep, so nothing comes as a surprise.
If you buy Pro after a trial, Cerevisor tells you once, when you activate the key, that your active workflows go from no limit to 15 at a time from up to 3 worlds, and that Operator, the team conversation, running workflows from scripts and Factory mode are part of Power, not Pro.
Free
When the trial ends and you have not bought a plan, Cerevisor moves to Free. You keep 2 active workflows from 1 world, and most of the product still works:

Some things are free on every plan: the chat builder, Progressive Mode, per-agent provider choice, the mobile companion including its controls, and the help assistant. Security protections, updates, your choice of provider, reviews, help requests, your saved run records and exports are never limited by plan.
Who can use the Free plan
Free is for personal use. It is also free for students and teachers, for study and teaching, and for nonprofit organizations.
Work for a business, for your employer, or for paying clients needs Pro or Power. That includes freelance and consulting work. You can use the 7-day trial to try Cerevisor on real work before you subscribe.

Pro
Pro includes everything on the Free list above, with 15 active workflows across 3 worlds. It leaves out four features, which are part of Power:
- Operator working on its own while you are away (experimental);
- the team conversation between your agents (experimental);
- the local API, for running workflows from scripts and other programs;
- Factory mode, for working through a queue of development items.
Power
Everything, with no limit on active workflows or worlds. Operator and the team conversation are marked experimental.
What you see when something is not on your plan
The feature's place is taken by a short card saying what it is and offering Activate license and Upgrade plan. You are never left guessing which plan it belongs to: a feature that only Power includes says Power feature.
Your plan, and when the app does not recognize it
Settings → Subscription names your plan: Cerevisor Power, Cerevisor Pro, Trial with the days left, or Free plan.
If your license is for a plan that this version of Cerevisor does not know yet (a plan added after your version was released), the tab says so and treats it as Pro until you update. Update Cerevisor to get everything your plan includes.
Changing plan
Buying a different plan gives you a new license key. Enter it in Cerevisor and it replaces the one on this device. Where the button is depends on the plan you are on now:
- On Pro, go to Settings → Subscription → Enter a different key and paste the Power key. See pricing sits beside it.
- On Free or during the trial, go to Settings → Subscription → Activate license and paste the key.
- On Power there is no plan above yours, so no key button is shown. To use a different key, press Sign out this device first; Activate license then appears.
Entering a new key does not cancel your old subscription. Cancel it yourself, or you will be billed for both. Open Settings → Subscription → Manage billing (or the link in your receipt email) and cancel the subscription you no longer use.
When you move to a plan with fewer active workflows, nothing is deleted. Cerevisor keeps the workflows you ran most recently that fit, and you can change that choice in the Subscription tab.
Refunds
If you buy a plan for the first time and it is not for you, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of that first purchase. The details are in the Terms.
Devices
A paid license works on two devices at a time. To move it to a new computer, sign out an old one first:
Settings → Subscription → Sign out this device.
Cerevisor releases the device and this computer moves to Free straight away. The license keeps working on your other device. If you forgot to sign out before wiping a machine, open Settings → Subscription → Manage billing and remove the old device there.
If the license server cannot be reached
If Cerevisor cannot reach the license server (no internet, a timeout, the server down), you stay on your own plan for up to 14 days, and the Subscription tab shows "(offline grace)" beside the last-validated time.
An outage can never strand a paying customer on a plan they did not buy. Only an explicit refusal from the server moves you to Free. After 14 days of failed checks, the plan lapses.
Updates never depend on your plan
Updates always download, whatever plan you are on. Trial, Free, Pro, Power and offline grace all get the same updates; the update path never reads your license. Nobody can be stranded on a broken build by a licensing problem.
Privacy
The license server gets your license key and a device id Cerevisor generates. That is all. Your workflows, your memory and your usage are never sent to it. The list of active workflows is kept on your computer only, and holds names and ids, never workflow content.
The device id is a one-way fingerprint computed on your computer from its identifier: a hash, not your serial number, hostname or anything readable. It exists only to bind a license to this machine. Your license key is stored encrypted on your computer.
When the trial ends
Cerevisor tells you the 7 days are up and offers to activate a license. Nothing is deleted: your workflows and worlds stay exactly where they are. On Free, 2 workflows from 1 world stay active, and you can carry on with Free for as long as it covers what you do.
I had 10 workflows in my trial. Where are they?
All 10 are still there, saved in their worlds, and you can open, edit and export every one of them.
On Free, Cerevisor keeps active the workflows you ran most recently that fit: 2 workflows, from one world. The others are set aside. To run one of them, just run it: Cerevisor offers to set one of the active ones aside and starts yours. You can also choose in Settings → Subscription → Active workflows.
On Pro, up to 15 across 3 worlds stay active, so most people never see a set-aside workflow at all.
